	On May 12, 2000 Union Times reported that according to the investigation of LEFIGARO both Secretariat of KMT and Beijing shared the Lafayette commission of US$500 million;  Secretariat of KMT got US$400 million and Beijing got US$100 million.
	The corruption of KMT's high-ranking governmental officers is very common, 50 years ago their corruption let Mainland China under the rule of P.R.C., now their corruption made them lose the reins of government to DPP.
